Hello! I’m Justin Wilkerson, Founder of Nurse Wise Learning.

I’m a fifth-generation Floridian and a first-generation college graduate. That journey of persistence, uncertainty, and growth influences every session I teach. I understand what it feels like to navigate nursing school without a clear guide, to feel overwhelmed, to question your ability, and to keep going anyway. Nurse Wise Learning was created to offer the kind of clear and compassionate support I once needed.

With over a decade of experience in critical care and academic nursing, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students at every level. From fundamentals to capstone courses, from clinicals to NCLEX preparation, I combine real-world experience with evidence-based teaching. I also hold national certifications in clinical nurse education (CNEcl) and nursing professional development (NPD-BC).

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe nursing education should be transformational, not transactional. Every student has unique strengths, and every session is a chance to build confidence, resilience, and deeper understanding.
